You put a line in your character’s mouth. “Come in, then. The shoes stay outside.” The others listen, answer, and remember how you speak to them.
You describe what your character does. Close the gate, open the letter, stay in the compartment. The story follows the action and its consequences.
You tell the story where to go: an encounter, a secret, a change of place. In playground mode the world follows your wish; in realistic mode the characters keep their own will.
You can also simply let it continue. The story carries on by itself, and you step back in whenever you like.
What happens between you stays. Trust grows or breaks, a promise is called in, a secret comes back. Each character’s card shows where the two of you stand.
A story runs until you end it. You write the last chapter yourself. Afterwards you can begin a new season: same characters, years later, or with whatever has changed.
Three levels: implied, sensual, explicit. You choose per story and change it any time. Your character keeps her boundaries; what you do not want does not happen.
